What materials do you use when designing?
Every possible material that will contribute to the correct translation of the design, from the client's imagination to the final reality. Materials include metallic leather, fur skin, silk laces, pearls, rhinestones, beads, silk flowers hand made, wool fabrics, vintage artifacts,
It is my absolute responsibility and pleasure to execute each design personally.
The final vision of the piece is a collaboration with the client but making sure that design is carried
out is my responsibility.
However in the accessories line every piece is custom made. As such I rely on specialists who provide me with the proper material when there is a need.
Further there is a team of people who work by hand and under my criteria to accomplish the ideas as they are designed.
For a wedding dress and or evening gown and also for special occasion orders I design in collaboration with the client.
The execution and realization of that particular design is on my own and of a team of women who work by hand and under my guidance.
Can we order pieces via internet ?
Internet is the ultimate tool especially when you are located out of New York City where I am based. Under the section "products" you will find our accessories line.
Do you deliver order(s) abroad and how ?
Absolutely. We do deliver abroad. Either it is only one piece as retail or any other number of orders as wholesale. Our company has import/export documentation and we work with all major couriers.
Can I design something myself and bring it to you, discuss over it and to make it for me ?
We are open to discuss any idea and explore ways to satisfy a client's need for the best appeal.
On a personal order (gown/dress) how the design is selected ?
Our showroom-atelier is a hospitable and elegant place where over a glass of wine or a cup of tea first we talk over the occasion and the specific needs of her presentation-appeal-way of look. Next step, sitting side by side, and drawing sketches which are made after talking with the client. After several sketches there will be the one that fulfills the client's dreams for that specific event. She participates in the whole process to ensure that the final product truly reflects her.
If it is a custom piece how do we agree on a design? Fabric? Vision ?
There is always time to talk and to express any deeper thoughts related to a unique moment of presentation/appeal. The Vision is of priority since this is the major factor and then selection of quality of fabrics and of color story follow so to bring up the vision into reality.
What is the process, from start to finish ?
Conceptual thinking, that is ideas on a piece of paper. Then the initial pattern is created on the form to dimensions accurate to the design and measurements. Draping on the human figure is the following step. Here the client's participation and opinion is absolutely a must. This is where the actual design takes life and it can be considered as the actual piece even though it is only on the trial "muslin" fabric. The client expresses opinion about the direction the design goes and several lines are created to give dynamic to the design as the sketch dictates. When the client is satisfied on the realization of the design the final pattern has been created and transferred on the fabric itself. After the fabric is cut it is put-stitched together then the try on process will guarantee the design itself (it proves itself.) The client is happy after knowing that the entire process followed and the execution of the design has been accomplished totally by hand, it is a custom made piece from A to Z.
If I want you to design my wedding dress how much time in prior do we have to talk/decide ?
I would say might take a year in advance. Though each situation is unique and can be considered.
It depends on the intricacy of the design itself and how complicated the execution is. Overall for the completion of a product a period of a month is necessary. For a simple princess line dress to the knee a period of a month is required Please keep in your mind for special occasions first we develop the prototype therefore the process is longer.
The characteristics and features of your face are elements to keep in mind. Also where how when why are questions to be answered so as to create a sketch-design for your current needs. This sketch can be mailed to you and after your approval and under your measurements provided by you the draping process begins. After you receive the muslin trial and you agree on the look it is returned to the designer and the execution on fabric follows.
The team is working in NYC. It is meant to have your own people where could assist you in fittings and in possible changes/improvements to be decisions. Of course if the occasion is such and traveling abroad is necessary means that certain expenses are provided for doing so.
Since we have not met how can you suggest to me colors and designs?
Suggestions of a designer are always sketches with fabric and color swatches on a presentation board-package.
What happens if I'm not happy with the final product ?
The entire process followed during execution is under your control to bring in life the design chosen by you with the fabric and color story of your preference and all the details as they are written and signed on the contract.
First consultation , either in our office or over the phone (or email), is completely free.
When you decide to move ahead with our products , the consultation is part of our service and therefore complimentary.
Consultation and even more from abroad is something that we certainly do. Opinions and ideas shared is a privilege of our modern world where we all live.
How much cost each piece? How is price determined ?

Ways of payment? / how your fee will be paid since I am abroad and I can not come to New York.
We accept major credit cards , company and personal checks and cash.
All payments are subject to receipt.
